What is launching like? Do I have to run off a cliff?
No cliffs, no leaps of faith—just a smooth, exciting takeoff. As the wing rises overhead, you’ll take a few easy steps forward… and suddenly, you’re airborne. It’s effortless, exhilarating, and unforgettable.
Is Paragliding the same as Parasailing?
No—paragliding is a completely different sport from parasailing. Parasailing involves being towed behind a boat while attached to a parachute and limited to 500 feet above the ground.
In our case, you’ll be towed by a boat up to approximately 2,500 feet above the lake. Once at altitude, we release from the tow line and continue flying freely, offering all of the joys of learning how to soar. If the weather cooperates we even have the ability to climb in thermals all the way to 18,000 feet!!!!!
